Rational emotive behaviour therapy (REBT), or rational therapy and rational emotive therapy, is an active-directive, philosophically and empirically based psychotherapy that is designed to help people to alter irrational beliefs and negative thinking patterns to overcome psychological problems and mental distress. Albert Ellis introduced the theory in 1955, which was a radical change from the traditional therapies popular at the time.
The course shows you how to use the methods of the REBT approach in therapy and counselling for your patients. You will learn how to structure REBT sessions with your clients. The course teaches you how to make your client happier and confident and the system of treating depression, anxiety, substance abuse, stress-related disorders using REBT.
By finishing the course, you will be able to work as a counsellor or therapist and ready to help others to recover their mental stress and make their jolly and lively.
