Course Description
The Certified Infection Prevention Specialty Professional (CIPSP) course is accredited for MandatedInfection Control and Barrier Protection proficiency. This program is designed to train the CertifiedHealth and SafetyOfficer, with continuing education credit available for physicians, physician assistants, and nurses.
This course provides learners with training on clinical infection control principles approved for all healthcare workers. It also includes robust, specialty level content.
Learners who complete this comprehensive course will receive proficiency acknowledgment on their certification for the following annually required training:
-Managing the Infection Prevention Program in Healthcare Environments
-Mandated Infection Control and Barrier Protection-Sepsis Awareness and Education
-Needle-Stick and Sharps Safety-Bloodborne Pathogens Prevention-Personal Protective Equipment in Healthcare
-Understanding OSHA for Healthcare Professionals
-UnderstandingTB Prevention
Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a 4Medapproved Certificate of InfectionControl and Barrier Protection Proficiency (CIPSP). This course has been reviewed by the 4Medapprovedmedical and technical advisory boards to meet the strict requirements of our healthcare learning objectives team.
In addition to accreditations offered by iStudy, this course carries US ACCME and ANCC accreditation for physicians/PAs and Nurses at all levels which may be requested at successful completion of this course by completing and submitting the accompanying CREDIT survey link in the final module.
