Course Description

The training, Trauma Treatment for Children, is experiential in nature. You will have exposure to working knowledge of interoception (the internal sense of body). The course also deals with body-based awareness and self-regulation. You’ll explore the ways of using the human body for effective trauma treatment. 

In this training, we will help clinicians to understand the body-based self-regulation process. You will explore how trauma can affect different aspects of body function. On the other hand, as a practitioner, you will figure out trauma from a somatic and body-based awareness.

The course includes crucial information on current research in the field. You’ll have a journey through the theories, empirically proven treatment modalities and techniques. Furthermore, you’ll gain insights into assessments to minimize resistance and increase effectiveness.
