Truly dreadful
This is an utter waste of time – I tried to give it zero stars but apparently I have to give at least one.
Each lesson is composed of text and a video: the text is clearly written by a non-native English speaker with the writing ability of a 10 year old, and has not been reviewed for linguistic content, nor for accuracy: it’s so bad that reading the class on Varroa will give completely wrong information to the reader. Then the videos. These are pulled from random places in YouTube and contain mostly bad information. There are a few presented by qualified people, but they are very much in the minority. In the first lesson, the narrator cannot even identify that the bees are carrying pollen into the hive, he admits he doesn’t know what eggs look like, and he’s feeding 2:1 syrup at a time when he should be feeding 1:1 – this is a video that should NEVER be shown to beginners except to explain how little the narrator knows.
Then we come to the exam. The coherent questions are fine, but what on earth is this?
“Which of the following that extraction takes place on both sides at the same time, so there is no need to move the frames once they have been loaded”
Of course, one could guess that the question is looking for “Radial extractor” as the answer, despite the bizarre phrasing. However, the multiple choices are:
“Unnourished physical health
School supply’s shout
Target Shopping
All of the above”
WTF?
It gets worse: I paid £21 plus a further £8.99 for the PDF course transcript and certificate. When I completed the course, they asked me for more money for these PDFs – I’ve been waiting 30 minutes now for one of their online chat people to respond to my query about this but I don’t really expect a response.
This “course” isn’t worth £1, let alone £21 and most certainly not the £316 that this course ostensibly would normally cost.
Avoid at all costs.
